It is an honor and a privilege to step into the role of president of the Rainier Olympic Nurses Association, and I look forward to serving alongside each of you in the months ahead. This organization exists because of the dedication, passion, and hard work of nurses who believe in the power of community, advocacy, and professional growth — and I am inspired every day by the commitment I see across our membership. Together, we will continue to build on the strong foundation that has been laid before us and strengthen the bonds that make RONA such a meaningful organization for nurses in our region.
I would be remiss not to pause and offer a heartfelt thank you to our outgoing president, Tami Green. Tami’s leadership has been a gift to this association—her steady guidance, tireless advocacy, and genuine care for our members have left a lasting mark on everything RONA is today. Her years of service on the board reflect a deep commitment to nursing and to this community that we do not take for granted. Tami, on behalf of the entire membership, thank you. We are better because of you, and we wish you all the best in the chapter ahead- looking forward to your ongoing engagement in RONA!
