Serving on the board is a great way to strengthen your leadership skills while supporting your fellow nurses and promoting the profession of nursing.
It is the expectation of board members that they attend the majority of board meetings, serve on a committee, and actively participate in R.O.N.A. events. Board meetings are held monthly – except July & August. Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month 5:00-6:30pm. Most meetings are hybrid – board members can attend in person at the R.O.N.A. office in University Place or via Zoom.
Any open positions during the year are filled by a vote of the board.

Members & student nurses are always welcome to attend board meetings. Please contact us at office@RainierOlympicNurses.org to verify days & times of upcoming board meetings. Most board meetings are hybrid. Members can join virtually or attend in person at our office in University Place.
